In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The main thing is you will leave sessions feeling better than when you started them. Increased confidence, hope, joy, forgiveness - and a clear way forward away from your troubles and towards the things you value most in life.

The treatment methods and tools I utilize

I am trained in a wide array of treatment approaches including CBT, trauma-informed care, emotional regulation techniques, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, mindfulness based approaches and motivational interviewing. And though I lean on these when necessary, I primarily use a strengths-based approach to care - I know you have personal qualities and resources that you've made use of to get you this far in life - and I will help you recognize what those are and how to use them most effectively in the areas you are struggling in today.
